Welcome to the 2012-2013 Scholars Collaborative Partnership

The Scholar's Collaborative Partnership seeks to bring together faculty and students in the spirit of collaboration and scholarly pursuits. The program is open to all students and faculty, particularily ISU graduate students and faculty who have the desire to collaborate in research activities. This provides a great opportunity for a mentorship relationship between faculty and student. In addtions, the site hopes to connect student to student in scholarly and social contexts. The collaborative conducts workshops on a monthly basis and then streams the workshops on the web to distance students. It is important that students studying at a distance have the opportunity to become part of the community of scholars at the university. This site also offers a collaboration section which is set up in a Facebook style social network and, in fact, interfaces with Facebook very nicely.
Beyond the virtual elements of the SCP, the collaborative also operates a collaboration center on the garden level of University Hall which is open to all students.
